Dylan Northcott
M Physio (Grad Entry), B.Human Movement (Ex & Sport Sci)
Dylan is a physiotherapist with a particular interest in persistent concussion symptoms, dizziness, balance disorders and neurological rehabilitation.
He takes a detailed and analytical approach to assessment, aiming to understand the different factors contributing to a person’s symptoms rather than treating them in isolation. He strongly values patient education and works to help people understand what is happening, why certain symptoms may persist, and how rehabilitation can support recovery.
His treatment approach focuses on improving movement quality, balance, coordination and confidence. He places a strong emphasis on learning through doing and feeling, using guided movement and practice to help people recognise more efficient movement strategies and build confidence in how their body moves.
Alongside his clinical work, Dylan is completing a Master of Clinical and Health Research at Flinders University, with a research focus on autonomic dysfunction following concussion.
Outside of the clinic, Dylan races mountain bikes and trains around these goals with strength training and road cycling.
